Religious Education
Religious Education is a core subject and taught weekly throughout our school. Through the Understanding Christianity scheme of work, we support our pupils to become reflective learners. Children are encouraged to make sense of their learning through questioning and reflective practice. This enquiry approach allows our pupils to engage with theological concepts and develop their own understanding of the world. Our RE curriculum is rich and varied which allows our pupils to study religious traditions learning from Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and Jewish people and their lives. Our RE curriculum further underpins our pupils spiritual, moral social and cultural development and their wider understanding of British Values. As a school, we value the strength our RE curriculum brigs to our pupils, our school and our community.
