It has been a busy end of term for our school singing groups. We are fortunate to have such enthusiastic and capable children.
After learning new songs together during November, sixteen children from Littlebourne Primary joined with other schools to sing at the Gulbenkian Theatre as part of the Rural Schools Carol Concert. It was a lovely evening and made an excellent beginning to our Christmas celebrations.
On 5th December years 5 and 6 joined with the Four Villages Choir to help bring a little cheer to the member of the Littlebourne Afternoon Club who gathered in the Lounge at the Village Hall for their Christmas tea.
A new venture for us this year was receiving an invitation to go to Ickham Village Hall and sing for those attending the Christmas Lunch Club meal.
Our last musical visit of the year was to Littlebourne House – which has become a regular event over the last 3 years. It is something the children look forward to as many of them enjoy talking with the residents afterwards.
We are very proud of how confident our children have become to sing in small groups and perform in different situations. We look forward to what 2018 will bring!
