Christmas Performance a great success

The True Meaning of Christmas

The children put on three wonderful performances of the Nativity Story this week. Entitled the True Meaning of Christmas, they impressed the audiences with their singing and performance skills. Every child in the school took part and loved the opportunity to appear on stage in front of family and friends. We were very impressed by the children’s eagerness to participate by volunteering to sing in duet and solo arrangements, also their ability to remember the words of so many carols.  Each class also had their own songs to sing rehearsed by the class teachers.

A big thank you to Mrs Diver who wrote the script and led rehearsals and to Miss Betts for playing the piano and teaching the children the songs sung as a whole cast. Also to Mrs Gaffney, Mrs Newman and Mrs Hines for creating scenery, costumes and props as well as decorating the Hall so beautifully with the children’s art and craft work.
