SEN/D Policy/Information Report
Our SEN/D policy/Information Report is written in line with relevant legislation including the SEN/D Code of Practice (DfE/DoH, 2015) and the Children and Families Act (DfE, 2014). The policy is reviewed annually by the SENCO and the Governing Body. The school Governors are aware of and respond to the relevant Disability Discrimination and Equality Acts and their statutory requirements stated within these.
Our SEN/D Policy/Information Report intends to provide further information on:
- How we support and make provision for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEN/D)
- The roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in providing for pupils with SEN/D
- Identifying further avenues of support
- How we make all aspects of our school community accessible to all. Please also see our Accessibility Plan (below)
