Homework

In Year 6, homework focuses on developing the key skills that make a real difference to children’s learning. We ask children to complete:

  • Regular reading – reading frequently at home and enjoying a range of books.
  • Spelling practice – practising the spelling words and patterns we are learning in class.
  • Times table practice – regularly rehearsing multiplication and division facts to build fluency and confidence.

These small, regular habits help children become more confident and independent learners and support the work we do together in school.
