As part of our commitment to empowering our children to develop awareness of and take responsibility for their own mental health and well-being, every child is invited to participate in daily wellbeing check-ins.
Each class takes their own unique approach to their check ins, to best suit the requirements of their class. If required, staff will provide additional time for children who check in with some difficulties, to have the opportunity to discuss these in greater detail.
If you have concerns regarding your child wellbeing, then please discuss these concerns with your child’s class teacher or the SENCO. In addition, if staff have concerns they will communicate these with you, as per our wellbeing policy.
We routinely monitor every child’s wellbeing every term. Where difficulties are identified, we use a number of strategies to support children who are struggling with their wellbeing.
