Lions Class - Year 6
Welcome to Lions class!
In Lions Class, we are dedicated and excited learners that take the time to listen to each other. Our classroom is built around mutual respect, and we work hard to build an environment where everyone’s voice is heard. We are very competitive and enjoy being active; we particularly enjoy football and enjoy working hard to receive this as a reward. Although we thoroughly enjoy all subjects, we have a passion for art and we use this to influence our work wherever possible. Creativity is at the forefront of our minds and as such, we enjoy having creative freedom in our writing lessons. Being the oldest in the school, we take our duty as a role model seriously and often support the younger children. We spend time sharing books with the children in Bees class and enjoy showing them how our values shape us as individuals.
Millie: "I like being in Lions class because the work is more challenging and we do lots of fun activities. The teachers are kind and fun when we do PE."
Pollyanna: "I like art because it makes me better, it is fun and you can use your imagination."
Behzad: "I love Friday's because we have a football reading prize, which is phenomenal!"
Lottie: "I especially like the team work in this class, if someone is stuck we help each other."
Mason: "I enjoy sitting on the benches in worship. I also like maths, football, computing, music and my teacher is the best."
Ivan: "I like Lions class because it's really fun in English because it's very free what your write."
Ava-May: "I love all subjects because I love learning and having fun!"
