At Littlebourne School we understand the impact that bereavement has upon all members of a family or community.

 

There are no typical ways to grieve and each person will grieve in their own unique way.

 

Grief is a complicated process.

 

The information below from Cruse is really useful to begin to understand grief and the impact grief can have. This can be supportive during times of bereavement.

If you have concerns regarding your child's reaction to bereavement, then please do not hesitate to discuss these with their class teacher or a member of our Senior Leadership Team. 

 

If you are concerned about your own reaction to bereavement, then please do approach a member of our Senior Leadership Team, who can direct you to further support.
